Behind the lens

Notes, thoughts and images from behind the lens: from sets, shoots and everything in between.

Project Pace is a running collective from the south of the country. Not a sports commercial, but running along, watching, and filming what really happens: early mornings, wet roads, and people pushing each other forward. This promo video was shot in one day, documentary style, without a set and no directing of the athletes. Alongside the main film, short vertical versions were created for social media.

Monthly visits to M25 Watches

These shots are from a shoot day at M25 Watches. Exactly the kind of collaboration I thrive on: not just one video and done, but returning every month to build a stronger brand image. How it works is simple. One day a month, I step into your world to film high-end content of your business, your product, and the people behind it. No rush, no stock footage: real imagery of your company, crafted at a campaign level. You receive everything in double. All raw shots, so you can choose, cut, and post whenever it suits you. Plus a finished edit ready to deploy on your website, social channels, and advertisements. New content every month, multiple ways to use it every month. Because ultimately: what you project is what you attract.

A pricey selfie

You have to treat yourself to an expensive selfie once in a while. Normally, that RED is pointed the other way: at artists, at brands, at stories that aren't my own. Today, it was aimed at me. Graffiti wall at my back, coat zipped up, street light hitting, and a camera that costs more than my first car as a photographer. Funny enough, this image says exactly what the work is about: you don't have to be centered perfectly to make something real. Look away, let the color do the work, and trust the moment. Don't take life too seriously.

€50,000 camera for reels

Using a €50,000 cinema camera to film reels… total overkill or just dedication to perfection? You tell me.
